Kheeee kheeee Khhhooon khooon,
Stoned or what wondered me?
Failed attempt of me to ignore,
Took away the flight waiting bore,
Sheepishly smiled did I,
Astonished to see d laughter,
Carefree like today’s monsoon rain!
Grey haired middle aged man,
A little bit fishy,
Randomly naughty,
drooling over the phone,
Many eyes gazed on him,
Unflustered was he,
Music of sorts to the ear,
Doesn’t matter if he was holding apple or pear,
Happy to see a happy man.
Me drawing parallels with a Buddha,
Laughing Buddha I mean,
Wonder who would have been jealous,
Buddha or the man?let it be a Buddha this time,
For he is just a goodwill statue,
Rare to find a man as happy as him!
Laughter continued, so did the rain,
As I prepare myself for yet another waiting game!
